Chef Janae is the grandchild to a fellow restaurateur, her late grandmother, Katherine. Back in the 1960’s she ran a restaurant in Harlem before it burned down due to a gas fire. At age 19 Janae attended Johnson & Wales University in Providence,RI and graduated in 2013 with her Associates in Culinary Arts as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Food service Management. Now she’s ready to pursue her own endeavors and run her own company with her Fried Lasagna brand. Starting from selling locally, to opening a Fried Lasagna Mama Food truck soon to going National and even Global!
